It is air-cured meat immersed in vinegar and spices. Various types of meat are used to make biltong but it is most commonly made from beef because of its widespread availability and lower costs.

Okay if you thought the koeksisters were amazing, wait til you try the PIES 😍 I was suddenly back home when I smelled the delicious pepper steak filling my kitchen. Ordered biscuits, hertzoggies, boerewors, pies and droewors and it was shipped overnight in awesome packaging. I actually forgot it at my front door (as i was expecting other things to be delivered) and it stood inside for another day before I realised what it was, but the food was still cold. Havent tried everything yet but the boerewors, droëwors and hertzoggies Ill definitely order again.

Heloise has been amazing and everything I gave tried of theirs has been fantastic . Some of the best biltong I have ever eaten. I always ask for some with fat. Her wors is also delicious

We’ve been trying to get to the events she’s at in Wainwright for a year. It always ends up the one we get to she’s not there or we aren’t able to get there when she is. Finally last night at the Christmas expo we got to try her stuff. It definitely did not disappoint. My husband is over the moon. We will definitely be ordering again.
